FFA

FFA provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills
and strengthen their career-readiness.  Students have opportunities
to participate in contests and conventions at the district, state, and 
national level.  Some areas of focus include:  leadership, animal science,
ag mechanics, plant science, and food science.  There are also many
activities students can participate in at the local level including 
community service, fundraisers, and chapter fun nights.  You do not
have to have an agricultural background or be enrolled in an ag class
to be a member of FFA.
