The Endowment Association was formed in 1997 wih the stated purpose of assisting the school district in the "development and improvement of quality education". Since the formation of the Association the emphasis has been to annually awarding scholarships through numerous generous donations to the Association and managing the Harbaugh Trust.
In May of 2023 the Association held investments totaling $1,868,754.68. Scholarships totaling $95,500.00 were awarded in May 2023.

Barb and Barbara Harrison - Preference in education major
Mike Gray - Requirement that you participated in high school athletics, Preference in athletic related major
Jim and Nadyne Copp Family - Requirement that you were active in school activities; maintained at least a 3.0 GPA; attending a 4 year college, Preference in education major
BHS Class of 1964 - Requirement at least a 3.0 GPA; open to any post-secondary school, including vocational school
Max Deets - Requirement that you participated in high school FFA, Preference in a ag related field
Tony Fobes - Requirement that you attend Kansas State University
Juliane Pruitt - Preference in a music related major
Brian Hogan - Preference in math or science related field
Spirit of Sylvia Ludwig - Requirement that you attend a two or four year secondary school, Preference in attending Kansas State University
Carle Kuhn Outstanding Science Student - Rquirement that you have taken a minimum of 8 semesters of a science in high school; active involvement in science realted activites; maintained a 3.5 GPA in all science courses, Preference in a scientific major
Vicki Meats - Requirement that you attend one of the following: Kansas State University, University of Kansas or Fort Hays State University
Betty Vernon - Preference in an education major; attend Kansas Wesleyan University
Boettcher Companies Scholarship - awarded to the Valedictorian at Beloit High school
