Rolling Hills Electric Youth Trips & Scholarships:
Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative is seeking outstanding sophomore and junior students for their 2026 youth programs.
They will select two high school sophomores or juniors for an all-expense-paid trip and a $500 scholarship:
- Washington, D.C. Youth Tour: June 13–19, 2026
- Steamboat Springs, CO Youth Leadership Camp: July 10–16, 2026
Eligibility:
- Current sophomore or junior
- Parent/guardian residence must be on Rolling Hills Electric lines
Apply by December 30, 2025:

After initial applications are received, students will receive an entry packet by email. Finalists will complete a résumé, open-book quiz, short essay, and interview. Top scoring finalist chooses their trip.
Note: Previous trip winners are ineligible; prior applicants are encouraged to reapply.
Rolling Hills Electric covers all travel, lodging, and meal costs. Safety remains their top priority.
