Rural Voices Youth Contest
Rural Voices Youth Contest:
The 2024-2025 Rural Voices Youth Contest for high school seniors is officially underway!
The North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC), based in Beloit, invites high school seniors located in the 12-county NCRPC service area to participate. This includes the counties of Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Jewell, Lincoln, Marshall, Mitchell, Ottawa, Republic, Saline and Washington.
To enter, seniors may submit an essay or short video based on this year’s contest theme — “Rural Kansas… My Hometown.” The top two entries will receive a cash award of $1,000 and have their entry published on the NCRPC website. This is a great opportunity for scholarship money for college or for cash to help someone get started on the job with tools or other expenses.
Deadline: February 3, 2025
