Good morning Beloit Jr-Sr High School! Happy Birthday to Emmery Manning and Breckin Wessling.
Congratulations to the following students that were selected for Dist. Honor choir: Ben Angeles, Cale Buchholz, Kayley Geaslin, Marleigh Mast, Darcy Pelton, Katelyn Pelton, Xavier Pilcher, Emilie Sadler, Zoey Stallings, and Nalaina Underwood. Also selected as alaternate was Jade Pelitier.
As of the end of the day Friday, here are the current standings on the food drive points per grade: Juniors are in last place with 984 points, followed by the 8th graders with 997 points. Freshmen have 1,651 points, followed by the staff with 2,114. In third place are the sophomores with 2,290 points. The 7th graders are in 2nd place with 6,076 points, and the seniors are in a strong lead with 8,694 points. Juniors and 8th graders both need to pick up your game quickly and carry your weight as a grade with this food drive.
The seniors have won the first round of rewards and have earned lunch at Dairy Queen or Sonic. We will communicate with your class about getting this set up.
The food drive is still going on this week until 9:00 am on Thursday, November 20th. Keep bringing in your food items and/or monetary donations this week until then.
You have been working hard at this food drive, and it is appreciated by so many people in our community. Keep up the great work!
